Jim Hutchins
Camp Director
“Hutch” is the co-founder and owner of NWNHC. Hutch has been involved in natural horsemanship for more than 20 years and has been organizing clinics, camps, courses and getaway events for the Center since its inception. He also is the Center’s Director of Education and teaches lessons, horsemanship classes, and manages the farm. He has also served as president of the Washington State Horse Park Foundation and is Chairman of the non-profit NWNHC Family Fund that does healing retreats for military families and provides summer camp scholarships to kids whose family is struggling.

Chris Greene
Art Director
Chris is a long-time art teacher, photographer, quilter, and mom. For more than twelve years she has been teaching art to children age 5-11 in the local school districts. She has been responsible for the art education and care for as many as 45 children at a time. Her broad experience in the arts and her love of children makes her a “favorite teacher” and a highly creative individual. For the NWNHC camps she broadens the children’s artistic horizons with innovative art projects and stretches their creative abilities. Chris has a degree in Applied Art and Design from Cal Poly University.
