NWNHC Internships

Turn your passion into a profession.

Natural horsemanship students from across the U.S., Canada and Europe have looked to the NWNHC to get a jump-start on their professional education and get practical experience as part of their collegiate study.  Many have gone on to be independent instructors and trainers, Parelli Professionals or chosen to just enjoy learning with their horse.

An NWNHC internship is a real business learning experience, not stall-mucking and cheap labor.  You will learn how to make your love of horses a business and the skills required to make a living in the equine industry.  You will also hone your horse training and teaching skills with experienced instructors and trainers, and have the opportunity to meet, interact and learn from nationally-recognized clinicians.

Areas of Learning

  Teaching

  Training

  Marketing

  Event planning and management

  Farm & herd management

  Budgeting & business accounting

  Holistic horse health and care

Each internship is designed to focus on the areas of your interest. Standard internships require a 3-month or 6-month commitment and can include room and board as well as the opportunity to bring your own horse.

To Apply

Send a letter of interest describing why you would like to be considered for an internship, your goals and areas of interest.  Also include a resume with pertinent work and horse experience, as well as three references. Contact us
